QED Connect, Inc.
(OTC: QEDN.PK)

QED Connect, Inc. (OTC: QEDN.PK) is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider that enables organizations to monitor and manage how employees are using computers, laptops, wireless devices and the Internet at any time, from any location in the world. QED’s flagship offering, Omni Manager, is a web-hosted service that tracks and reports on employee use of the Internet, e-mail, instant messaging, and other applications.

Omni Manager solves the challenge of securing today’s ‘virtual’ work environment of branch offices, remote workers and traveling employees. It delivers ROI by controlling employee use of the Internet and non-work related applications, which costs employers millions of dollars annually in productivity losses and legal liabilities. As a hosted service, Omni Manager also reduces operating and maintenance costs, and IT management and administration time.

Omni Manager has already proven its value to enterprises, small to medium-sized businesses, school districts, government agencies, and nonprofits. Until now, it’s been cost-prohibitive for many organizations to build their own information security infrastructures - typically requiring multiple high-priced software packages from different vendors - and maintain the IT staff to support them. For an affordable per seat license fee, Omni Manager provides an outsourced, all-inclusive security infrastructure that deploys in minutes, is easy to manage, and offers all the essential security functions, including:

  • Internet filtering, blocking and monitoring
  • E-mail filtering
  • Antivirus
  • Instant messaging control
  • Asset tracking and hardware/software audit
  • Application usage monitoring
  • Policy creation and management
  • Detailed reporting tools

QED Connect is listed on the Pink Sheets Electronic OTC Markets under the trading symbol QEDN. For more information on the company, go to www.qedconnect.com.

QED Connect Announces Software License Manager to Be a Value Add Option for the Asset Management Application

QED's Web-Based Software License Manager Will Increase Channel Partner Revenue and Save User Costs

•   On Tuesday May 26, 2009, 9:14 am EDT

MANCHESTER, NH--(MARKET WIRE)--May 26, 2009 -- QED Connect Inc., (Other OTC:QEDN.PK - News), an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for the information security market, today announced that the company will introduce a SaaS-based Software License Manager (SLM) product. The application will enable centralized management of software licensing whether users are on or off network and is aimed at increasing revenue through channel partners: Manage Service Providers (MSP), Internet Service Providers (ISP) and Telco.

Recent market surveys estimate that American companies will spend nearly $160 billion on software purchases in 2009 and another $100 billion on software maintenance. Dell Modular Services estimate that those companies on average overspend on software licenses and maintenance by 30%. IT executives struggle to manage software and face multiple challenges, including poor visibility into remote assets, the inability to ensure the security of PCs, and the failure to deliver support on a consistent and cost-effective basis. Very few small to medium businesses have the cross-functional expertise and knowledge base for controlling software licensing.

QED's application will offer an integrated package from purchase to obsolescence. First delivery is scheduled for late 3rd quarter 2009.
